I LOVE IT! I tried the brownie mix from Namaste Foods and found that to be as good as making them from scratch! Davids Natural Market in Gambrills is carrying their mixes now! pm The best pre-packaged cake mixes I have found, to date, are from Dowd & Rogers. They use Italian Chestnut flour. To make an excellent coffee cake, use the dark vanilla cake mix and layer the batter with a sugar, cinnamon & nut mixture (I candy the nuts first, but you don't have to). End with the cinnamon mixture. This makes a coffee cake that rivals any wheat flour coffee cake on the market! pm |
